Higher Ground - Soul Band Manchester Concert reviews
Not My Favorite Event
"I was less than satisfied with this entire event, despite my love for the Higher Ground - Soul Band. The concert was supposed to start at 7:30 according to the tickets, but it didn't begin until 8pm, leaving us waiting in our seats for 30 minutes. Higher Ground - Soul Band himself didn't show up until 5 or 10 minutes past 8, and the first session lasted only 40 minutes with a 20-minute break. During the first session, Mr. Higher Ground - Soul Band only performed for around 25 minutes, sharing the stage with a soprano who did a solo. The concert resumed at 8am and ended at 10pm, with 3 or 4 excellent curtain calls. There were two other solo performances, including one by his son, who was very talented but not promoted as part of the show. One of the highlights of the night was a duet performed by Mr. Higher Ground - Soul Band's daughter and himself, which was truly outstanding. Despite my disappointment with the overall evening, I still enjoyed Mr. Higher Ground - Soul Band's exceptional voice and musical numbers. Throughout the night, there were very few performances in English and only one or two Christmas-themed songs."
